You probably heard me mention a couple of weeks that I had some Sinatra music on my IPod. Actually, his name is Frank Sinatra. In the opinions of many people, he may be the greatest singer in American history. Seriously.
Frank Sinatra is quite an interesting person. At one time he was a Republican and at other times a Democrat. He was friends with several American Presidents as well as allegedly having ties to organized crime. Maybe you should spend a few minutes looking at the link from Wikipedia. Or maybe you prefer his personal web page. Either way they are worth the time to visit.
Here are some items to consider. Frank Sinatra is famous for doing things "his way." Musical artists who are successful today doing things their own way owe him a debt of gratitude. Many artists including Bono of U2 list him as having major influences on their music. When he died in 1998, many radio stations, including numerous rock and country stations, ceased their regular programming to play Sinatra in tribute to him!
Sinatra was way out in front on several social issues. He was one of the first white artists to include musicians of color in his touring act. He is also famous for not staying in hotels that would not allow black musicians to stay there, also. This at a time when segregated hotels were the norm!
During the 2008 Presidential election, there were very few things that President Obama and Senator McCain agreed on. However, on their top ten list of favorite songs one artist was on both lists: Frank Sinatra! Now let's listen to some of his music!

He has really good music. I really didn't know that much about him before today. Today I found out that Sinatra didn't write the song 'New York, New York' and that he took a two year absence from performing and returned in January of 1950.
Before today all that I knew about Frank Sinatra was his name, and that he made music. Today I learned that Frank was also an actor. Frank was born on December 12th 1915, and he passed away on May 14th 1998.
Frank Sinatra has a nice voice and a good sound to his music, but it's not something that I would listen to all the time. Before today the only thing I knew about him was that he was a singer. I think that he was a good guy, and it was really cool how he stood up for the African Americans. I went to his personal website and found out that he was also an actor.
Frank Sinatra is pretty famous for doing things his way, he is a good singer. I have only heard one of his songs its called "the way you look tonight." One fact about him, is he was a singer, actor, producer, director, and conductor. Frank died at the age of 82, on May 14,1998.
Well my thoughts on music are I listen to just about everything from rap to rock to scream-o. a interesting fact is that Frank Sinatra was baptized this week in 1916. I don't really like his music but i'm ok with listening to it.
I think Frank is a great artist that does it his own way to the perfect extent and doesn't take it to far like some authors nowadays do. In 1954 he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Before today all I new is that he was associated with music and crime. As bad as that sounds

Before today I'd only heard the name Frank Sinatra. I think his music is to old for me. He was born 12 December 1915 and was nicknamed "Ol Blue Eyes".
His music is pretty good. I didn't really know much about him before today. He was elected to the Gaming Hall of Fame in 1997.
I don't useally like this type of music, but its interesting. It reminds me of when i was in band. I've heard of Frank Sinatra, but i didn't know he was a singer.
I think his music is boring. I have never heard of him and i don't like his music. Its just not my thing. I learned that he would not perform without letting color people in. he was white man during segregated times.

Frank Sinatra's real name is Francis Albert Sinatra. He was born in December of 1915 on the 12th. His music is very nice.

I think his music is well , old but good I guess? Yeah, I've heard of him before today. I mean its Frank Sinatra. He became a successful solo artist in the earl '40 and began the idol of the "bobby soxers." His career satopped by the 1950s, but it came back around in 1954 after he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

He sounds really interesting. I have heard this music at Tides games. And I have been to alot of Tides games. He seems interesting but just a little bit older. He is overall really good though. Sinatra was named after his godfather. He was baptized in 1916.

Sinatra had many quotes, one of my favorites is “Cock your hat–angles are attitudes.” I have never really listened to him although, my dad was an Elvis fan they are very much alike to me. I wouldn't want to hear it everyday, however he is charming and has a nice voice, it's just outdated. I like that new stuff. ;)
I think Frank Sinatra has a great voice. I like his music :). I did't know too much about Frank Sinatra until today. I learned that he performed mostly in Vegas. I absolutely love Las Vegas so I thought that was neat.
