Even if you are not a hockey fan, you have just got to love these green guys. Since December, the pair have become fixtures at Vancouver Canucks hockey games. Known for taunting players on opposing teams, the green men certainly add "color" to the games. Videos of their antics have popped up on YouTube and sports highlight shows. In addition, they have their own web site, and a Facebook page with over 28,000 fans!
We will look at a news article on them and view a couple of videos.
What do you think of them? Are they amusing, nuisances or just plain funny? Do you think there is a place for other green guys in sports besides hockey? Remember to proofread!

I think that green guys are kinda weird, but they are definitely funny to watch them making fun of the players in the time out box. I wonder what they look like with out the green costume on? I would like to see them in person.
I think the green men are cool. I think its a good idea to dress up and go to the games. It makes it more fun and entertaining for everyone. I think more people should do that around here.
I personally think the green men are pretty cool. They're funny too. They seem pretty interesting, i would totally hang out with them,haha.
I think the green guys are funny. It's a great idea to have a mascot for your team like them. I think that it would work in other sports, but then the green guys wouldn't be as unique.

I think they are a bunch of idiots for doing the crap that they do. I mean come on "Sully" and the "Force". I think they are funny but not really that funny. They really need to get a life instead of being idiots and insulting people.
The Green Guys are hilarious. It is crazy how they allow them to wear those costumes to school, games, etc. I would love to come to school wearing one of those suits. The blog was fun today.
To me the "Green Men" aren't nuisances but more like unofficial mascots. They are quite hilarious. I could see myself doing that one day though. Just walking around in a colored suit making people laugh and being famous. They are living the life.
The green guys are pretty amusing. I think they can fit in basketball and football.
I think they are entertaining to a certain extent.I believe they would get annoying especially for people who just want to watch the game, however. As for there being a place for them in a sport other than hockey, I am not so sure there is.

I think what the green men do is cool. Not only are they funny, they are making a difference. I would love to be a green girl lol. Its a good thing that they can have fun and make a difference at the same time. Really cool.
So the Green Men are pretty funny I like that they are doing they're act for the team and not for kicks and giggles. But I think it would be really funny for them to get they're tails beat during a game.
I do think that the green guys are quite amusing. They seem like very outgoing and fun guys. I do think that there is room in sports for more green guys like them cause of there comical moves.

I honestly think that the "green guys" are ok. To me it can be funny at the time when they do what they do; but when they do it over and over again, it probably can get a little old. Being that you would most likely want to watch the game and not two "green guys" in the way.
Well I think the “Green Men” are pretty cool. Even though I am not a Hockey fan. The “Green Men” are hilarious. It would be really cool to see more videos of them in action. It is overall really funny. I do wonder what it feels like to be in that Green Suit. haha

I believe that there must always be a set of individuals who take time out of their lives to act like idiots. If there weren't people like this the sporting world would be a much more boring place. So yes, I do believe there is room for another set of "Green Men" in this world.
The green men are so hilarious. I think they're awesome. I bet when they started doing that, they didn't realize they'd become this famous. I'd go to a hockey game just to see them!
I think the green boys are funny. They are very amusing and it's obvious that they are good at what they do because they make plenty of people happy..even children
i think they are crazy but smart because they got everybodys attention and they are just doing this to get the spotlight.
I like the Green Men. I have never seen them before, but who Couldn't like em :). They have high energy and make the game better to look forward too, win or lose.
I thank that the green guys are cool that seem to make the hokey games more fun to go to .there so silly to go and do that on TV but I thank that the idea was a great one ‘hay it got them out there right so they have to be doing something right”. Do u thank it ever gets hot in them outfits? But I thank they are rally cool and they have a lot of nerve.
I think it is hilarious and really funny. If I liked hockey that much, I would probably do it to.
