Hey, Where Did The Sun Go?

Let's see, is it spring ahead, fall back or is it fall ahead, spring back? Okay, it is spring ahead and fall back. Therefore, you should have gotten an extra hour to sleep or do something else this past Saturday. It was much lighter when you came to school today, but it got dark much earlier last night. And maybe you are a little extra tired today. Why is that?

Daylight Saving Time has been around for a long time. Check out the link. Name one state that does not observe Daylight Saving Time. Find out some other facts on daylight saving time. In your post, list a state that does not observe Daylight Saving Time, one other fact and how you feel about changing the clocks twice a year.

Arizona does not observe daylight savings time. Twins can have different birthdays if their born on daylights savings time. In 2007 daylight savings time commenced on the 2nd Sunday in March and ended on the first Sunday in November.

I believe we should do what Arizona does and not have day light savings time. I think that it waste’s people’s days by not giving them more sun light at night. I believe it should be how it is in the summer during the winter as well. I am not a fan of having less sun in the winter.

Arizona does not observe daylight savings time. Niether does Antartica. There are 24 hours of daylight in Antartica during the summer.

Daylight Saving Time is not observed in Hawaii. Overnight passengers on trains are often surprised to find their train at a dead stop and their travel time an hour longer than expected. Crime was consistently less during periods of Daylight Saving Time than during comparable standard time periods.

Mr. Downing, daylight savings time is very interesting. I believe that it is beneficial for our country, as well as other countries. But for Indiana, they do not contribute to DST.

Arizona is one that does not observe in Daylight Savings time. I think it is pretty cool, because we can get an extra hour of sleep. Trains have to wait an hour before leaving when Daylight Savings Time begins. And in Arizona there is some parts that Arizona obsevers Daylight Savings Time, But not in the center of it.

In California a Blazer filled with teens flipped over, killing one of them and injuring several others. The teen driver said that the street was wet due a lawn sprinkler system. The person responsible for the sprinklers testified that the sprinklers were set to come on more than fifteen minutes after the car accident.

Twins born at 11:55 pm and 12:05 am may have different birthdays. Daylight saving time can change birth order. During time changes in the fall one baby could be born at 1:55 a.m. and the sibling born ten minutes later, at 1:05 a.m. I think daylight saving time is kind of weird.

Daylight saving time has made many people confused. Antarctica keeps up with Daylight savings, so that their shipping does not get messed up. The Amish are divided on to observe daylight savings or not.

In Arizona doesn’t have Daylight Saving Time. A study by the U.S. Law Enforcement Assistance Administration found that crime was consistently less during periods of Daylight Saving Time than during comparable standard time periods. I dont like Daylight Saving Time cause I get confused with the time.

Going back an hour has not made me tiered at all. Arizona and Hawaii are the only states that don’t observe Daylight Savings Time. A guy in that was drafted into the Vietnam War got out of it by saying that his birth date was the day before he was born because of Daylight Savings Time.

Arizona and Hawaii do not have daylight saving time. In Antarctica, there is no daylight in the winter and months of 24-hour daylight in the summers. In April 2005, Indiana legislators passed a law that implemented Daylight Saving Time statewide beginning on April 2, 2006.

It turns out that Arizona is one of the states in the U.S that doesn't recognize Daylight Saving Time. Also Antarctica does not use Daylight Saving Time and doesn"t have any time zones. And some drunks lose a hour worth of drinking when time springs forward which causes some people to riot.

The answer to the question is that time springs ahead. Daylight saving time can chage the birth order of twins born at 11:55p.m. and 12:05a.m. Arizona and Hawaii does not absorb daylight saving time.

Through 2006, Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. ended a few days before Halloween. Children’s deaths are higher on Halloween than on any other night of the year. For decades, candy manufacturers lobbied for a Daylight Saving Time extension to Halloween, and many of the young trick-or-treaters are not allowed out after dark. In Arizona there is no daylight savings time. So It wouldn’t be a problem for them.

I don’t like when time changes. I didn’t know that Arizona didn’t have day light saving time. I don’t like it because it get dark early and some people will be tired at 7:00 clock. I will be happy when time changes back.

I learned that Arizona doesn't do Day light savings. I also learned that the crime rates goes up when the time goes back. I don't really feel any different today. Nothing really changed to me.

I know now that Indiana does not observe Daylight Savings Time. I also learned that there have been riot about the time changes twice every year. I think that fall back is the best of the two daylight savings time because it is bright in the morning insted of dark.

Mr. Downing, maybe it's because we are so used to one certain time, and then everyone had to set the clocks back one hour and sometimes it messes up people's heads. But it's also good for students because they get an extra hour to sleep before school in the morning.

During the day many radio stations broadcast as apposed to at night. So, when daylight savings time comes, it causes those stations to gain more broadcasting time for the morning drivers. However, when the time springs forward, stations lose that time.

Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and the state of Arizona do not have to deal with Daylight Savings. However, Everyone else in the U.S. and it's territories do. I don't really care about Daylight Savings because... I Still have to get up and go to work or School anyway.

Day light saving time is awesome. I found out that DST is not observed in Hawaii. DST gives lets us have summer evenings by moving our clocks an hour forward in spring. I enjoy DST because sometimes it give me more sleep. Sometimes I don't enjoy it because it takes the night away, but it is still cool.

As it turns out, almost all of Arizona does not observe Daylight Savings Time. The Navajo Nation, however, does. This leaves an odd, donut-shaped space in Arizona with different times. Also, a man avoided being drafted by using a DST loophole. It is a very interesting and hectic time of year.

I really don't have an opinion on this. It simply does not matter to me. I did find one fact interesting to me though. Alaska does not have daylight savings time because they have a brief period of 24-hour nights during the winter. I didn't know that.

The state of Arizona does not observe daylight savings. Daylight saving time has mixed effects on people's health. Transitions into and out of DST can disturb people's sleeping patterns, for example, and make them more restless at night. Sometimes I don't enjoy it because it takes the night away, but I guess its worth it.

Arizona does not observe daylight savings time. I thought it was interesting that for a while, many states were allowed to change their time whenever they wanted to. This would've been extrememly confusing. Especially the fact that people on a bus trip had to change their watches 7 times in a 35 mile stretch. I would start getting annoyed if that happened to me.

Arizona does not have daylight savings time. Daylight savings time can also change the birth order in twins. I think that daylight savings time is wonderful, because to me it makes time go faster throughout the day.

Tis is wierd Mr. Downing. Arizona doesn't observe DST. I think that using DST to avoid the draft is very fair.

Hawaii doesn't observe daylight saving time. I don't really think much of it, i mean yeah we get more sleep but i don't see the point of it. In September 1999, the West Bank was on Daylight Saving Time while Israel had just switched back to standard time. West Bank terrorists prepared time bombs and smuggled them to their Israeli counterparts, who misunderstood the time on the bombs.

I think it's good, because I can get more sleep. I don’t like the fact that it gets dark early though. I noticed that Arizona doesn't have a time change. One fact I got from the article is that AM radio stations signal travel faster at night then the day time.

A state in the US that doesn't observe daylight savings time is Arizona. Many Amish people in the US and Canada still debate on whether they should observe it or not. I like falling back but i don't really like springing forward. I like falling back because we get an extra hour of sleep like on Saturday. I do miss seeing the sunset when I get up in the morning but I like it being sunny.
