Happy New Year!

Did you make a New Year's resolution? Many people make them and as the statistics show, many keep them at least for a little while. Did you make a resolution? If you did , do you want to share it with the group?
What do you think of New Year's resolutions? Are they worth making? If you have a difficult time keeping it, does that mean you have failed? And, finally what is the strangest resolution you have heard or witnessed.

In case the first version of the traditional New Year's song is difficult to follow, here is a more modern version.  Happy New Year, everyone.

I didn't make a New Year's resolution. New Years is a time when people say they will change and don't, and if they do it's for a few weeks then they're back to normal. To me New Years resolutions aren't worth making.

I've never made a New Year's resolution and I don't plan on it. I do plan on doing whatever it takes to better myself as a person, but that's always been a goal of mine. I don't think people should plan on changing their lives or something about themselves because of a new year. Most people have a hard time keeping up with them anyway.

I really don't have a new years resolution. Many would consider a change but, in what. I'll never see any change in someone if it's on the spot.

I didn't set a new years resolution. I haven't heard any new year resolutions from anyone yet. I hope it will be a great year for everyone.

I didn't make a New Year's resolution, I never have in the past. I have never seen someone who has stayed with their resolution until the end of the year, a month at the most. I don't think resolutions are worth making.

I like this video. I didn't make any New Years resolution. Some people that make a new years resolution sometimes do not keep them.

I really don't have a New Year's resolution. I think a New Year's resolution is something people always say they're gonna do but never stick with it. They really aren't worth making.

I've never made a New Year's revolution. I don't judge anyone who does, of course, its just that I know I couldn't keep it if I made it. I've never known anyone to keep theirs, either. The most ridiculous one I have heard was giving up sugar--isnt sugar in almost everything?

I've never had a new year's revolution. And everybody I know that does, ends up getting in trouble by doing what they used to do.

I don't make new years resolution because i never keep them but i do plan to make changes in my life. I want to make a better me. People don't keep them because they think its to hard or don't have time to keep it up.

I didn't make a New Years resolution, but I say they are worth making. As long as it is something you can accomplish in a year and something that is worth your time then go ahead and make one. I hope that people who have made a New Years resolution actually complete it and not give up a month later, like most.

I did not make a New Years resolution, but that does not mean that they are not worth making. Many people make resolutions for the new year, I don't think I heard a crazy one yet. However, if someone has a hard time completing a resolution does not make them a failure, it just means they have to keep trying and eventually complete it. Overall I think resolutions are worth making.

I made New Year's resolutions and I fully intend to keep them. Though many think resolutions are pointless and people don't stick to them anyway, I think differently. I believe it is a chance to identify what you aren't satisfied with in your life and make an attempt at fixing it. Even if it doesn't work out, it's a learning experience.

I believe in New Years resolutions , but I find it hard for myself to keep them. I didnt make one this year because most of the time I dont come through with it. It helps alot of people out with many things like losing weight, or to maybe stop smoking. So I think it is a good idea to have a New Years resolution.

I made a New Year's Resolution this year, but its not the typicaal "New Year New Me." Because it's technically not a "New You"... My New Year's Resolution is to make better descisions and be more positive. It won't always be easy but the outcome of taking the hard road will be better than the eaay road in the end.

I didnt make any New Years resolutions, simply becuase I usually forget about them. I hope to make 2013 a good year just like I did for 2012. I may make a New Years Resolution next year though.

My New Year's resolution is to stop being so nice to people, because in the past I've learned that being nice to people gets you nowhere. I'm tired of being nice to everybody and when I try to be nice people act rude. I can't put up with this no more nice Ashley I'm all about business now!!

I believe in making resolutions for the New Year. I try to make and keep one every year. This year my resolution is to be a better person. I would like to be a better daughter, student, sister, and friend. I see a new year as a frest start.

I made a New YEars resolution but I already did the opposite of it. Most people that make one end up being the same a couple weeks later. To me it isn't worth making.

I don't have a New Year's resolution. I only remember it for a little while than I forget. Most of the people either don't remember or don't do what they said.

I have made a New Year's revolution. In my opinon they help you set goals. Even if you failed at least you tried and you can restart it. The craziest revolution I have ever heard of is talking for a month.

New Year's resolutions are always great things to have. The resolutions can help begin things, change things, and end things. Resolutions such as losing weight, changing smoking or drinking habits, or some other things could also be a bit challenging and sometimes stressful. If you can overcome the stress and change bad habits then resolutions can be a very good thing. I've heard of resolutions such as changing who you are, or who others are, which can sometimes be very bad on your friends, family, and others. Resolutions are great to have depending on your attitude on things! Happy New Year everyone!

I did not make a New Year’s resolution; I never have. I don’t feel like I need the start of a New Year to change something about my life or myself. I feel like they are pointless; New Year’s resolutions are worth making. Most people simply talk about what they are going to do instead of acting upon it. Most people will keep their resolution up for a few weeks, and then they just forget they ever made one.
