Wow, that was amazing. He is a hero. He got there in just enough time. He didn’t have to do it, he choose to do it.

I think he is both a hero and somebody who thought what the two men were doing was wrong. I think he is a hero because he saved The U.S. Flag from getting burned. Also, he did what was right, he didn't think what the men were doing was right, so he did something about it.

I think that Mr. Monday is a hero, not a hero of saving someone but from stopping two people from burning the United States flag infront of thousands. He is a hero in my eyes and I think that it was an act of respect to the U.S. Even though some may think of this as nothing, it is something that all Americans should want to do if it were to happen.

I would have done the same thing. That flag is the meaning of the word free. That is what I believe in.
I think Mr. Monday is not a hero, but he should be commended for his actions. He did a great thing that will go down as the absolute best play in Baseball history.

I think this is a very good act of patriotism. Most people don’t show their love but yet they love it. I think everyone should show their love for their homeland.
I think that he isn't really a hero but it was the right thing to do. They should have not tried to burn the flag. It was a good decision on his part to take it away from those people.

I think that this was an act of respect for our country. Many people would not have done what Mr. Monday did. I'm sure it will stay as the best play in the history of Baseball.

This was awesome, this man did a great thing for his country. He is a hero. He risked his life trying to save the U.S. flag, this is a very brave man.
Mr. Monday is a hero because he saved the United States flag. He knew that what the two men were doing and he did what was right. He is a hero to me.

What he did was right for this country he showed this country a ton of respect. Mr. Monday did what he should of did by grabbing that American Flag. Mr. Monday may have saved the league off baseball.
I don't think he's a hero, because his actions didn't have any effect on anybody's live and to put it simple all he saved was a cloth from burning.
Anyway what he did was right. It is disrespectful to burn a symbol of the believe of millions of people. It doesn't matter if it is a holy book like the Bible or the Qur'an or if it his a flag.
I'm not sure if I would consider him a "hero" but he definately is patriotic. The flag means everything to America it is our symbol of freedom and our rights. It is very important that the flag was saved by Mr. Monday in front of the millions of people.
I think that he is just a man saving a flag. Monday is some what brave. I believe that any one could of done that, Monday was just the quickest of getting out there.

I think what Rick Monday did was really brave!! It takes courage to stand up for what you believe in, and he surely showed great courage. America is a great country, if only everyone cared this much about it!!!

What he did was amazing. He could have got hurt by doing that. The flag could have already been on fire, but he took the chance of doing that. He did what was right, and many people respect him for that.

I think Mr. Monday did an amazing Job of saving the flag. Also it takes alot of courage to stand up for what you think is right. America is a great country, and its what we believe in.

I think of him as a hero. He showed a great amount of respect towards his country. He did what was right.

I believe he is a hero, he protected what he thought was right. He may not have saved anyone’s life, but he did save the flag’s meaning. This man said exactly what I thought, “I think it silicified the thought process of hundreds of thousands of people that represented this country in fine fashion, many of them lost their lives.”
Mr. Monday is not a hero to me. But what he had done was important. No one should disrespect the country like that.
