Have you heard "The Mom Song" by comedienne Anita Renfroe? This YouTube sensation has been seen many times, both on television and the Internet. Here is the premise: in just about three minutes she sings all the things a mom might say in a typical day. Very funny and also entertaining!
Of course, as with many discussions between parents and teens, there are probably going to be some discussion. Watch Ms. Renfore's version. And of course there is the teen's perspective. Is that a normal thing to follow the first video? Does Ms. Renfroe sound like your mom; or do you agree with the teenager? After you have viewed the videos, post your comments (remember 3-5 sentences).

her singing is good. its cool how she made up her own remix. this was a funny video.
I think that does sound like my mom. Not all the time, but she does say that sometimes. I liked the teens perspective because it's true. I liked both of the videos.
When the girl was singing the mom song all of teh things that she said are true.Moms talk to much, and I think that they do not want everyone to have a good live, and the best time of their lives. Moms are just trying to take care of use so that we do not do the wrong thigns that we were told not to do. Patrick Gibbs
I'll have to agree with Ms. Renfore, because my mom says just about every one of those things on a daily basis. The teen version is definitely true for a lot of people, but some things didnt apply to me personally. Overall they were both very funny and true summing up of a teen-parent relationship.
I enjoyed both videos. They're both very true and everyone can relate to them. Parents can get annoying at times but you still have to love and respect them.
I liked how the girl made her own mix out of that song. The mom singing was to bossy and to many things about chores and morning procedures. The girl one was better.
It was an OK video, and I laughed at some parts but it was interesting. It was exactly what a mom would say on a regular basis and the teen version, even though some don't act like that, was what a teen might say. I liked both versions and thought they were great.
I think that both videos were very true, but also for me some of it was exagerated a little. And the mom sounded like she was talking to her son. The teenage girl had a very good perspective of how we are but she was a little annoying.
Both the videos made good points, although they were annoying. I think teens need their space, privacy and our parents to trust us a bit more. But our parents do love and care for us, and are only trying to protect us.
I think that the videos are an EXCELLENT point. That's exactly how my mom is sometimes with my siblings'. Sometimes I act exactly the way the teenager was singing because I need my space and my mom sometimes in my space. But at the end of the day I know it's for the best and that they love me. - Rebekkah Caudill
Both of the videos are very true. Parents are annoyed at times from their children and the children are annoyed by their parents. But, our parents do love us.
The videos were okay, that's exactly how my mom is sometimes with my siblings'. And she is always hovering over me. But at the end of the day I know it's for the best and that they love me.
I like both of the videos. The teenagers and the mom speaks a lot of real stuff in the video's. And the mom sounds like my mom, in a lot of ways. - Armonie
The mom song was so true, maybe not all the time but most of the time. I like the girl version better of coarse because I’m a teenager. Both songs were true because sometimes parents seem a little worrisome to teenagers and sometimes teenagers seem a little worrisome to parents.
The mom song was some what like my mom and the teenager was some of my response. My and I fight all the time but I its for my good what she tells. But my mom has never said "I can't wait for you to have a kid of your own" when she gets mad.
Both of the videos bring up very good points. Like "The Mom Song", my mom does tell me many of the things expressed in the video but also like the "Teen's Response", I make the same arguments and comebacks to my parents as was in the video. I love and respect my parents much like many others, but lets face it, im a teenager!
It is a normal thing to follow the first video; those are the things that teenagers would typically say to reply to their mom. My mom used to sound like that, but she doesn’t act like that anymore. I am so thankful for that, it drove me crazy!

Now that was funny to see. Well now the question is which side gets more ataintion. Mabey there might a few issues to work with when people see these.

The video was ok. I really didnt see the point of that video. But it is very true.

The viedos are just crazy. They're just not funny. I would like you to get diffrent and better video .
They Call Me MelloYellow :)
My mom says some of this stuff sometimes, so I can relate to some of it. I also like the teen video better because it sounds more like me.

I think both of the songs are okay. They both got annoying also. But they were very true.

I think both videos got a Point of view from each. I think the Mom's point of view is more towards a son. Both videos take too long to load.
Both videos are true. Parents do get on my nerves sometimes. I like how she made a remix.

I think both of the videos were very true. Parents do have their moments of sheer annoyment, but youve gotta love them.

I thought it was funny the singing made since, but it isn't something I would watch again. she not that bad at singing though.

I have heard this song before about 3 years ago and it sounds just like my mom

I found the videos boring, because I don't have a cat and my mom doesn't bother to wake me up that much. She wants me to be mature.
Both videos are telling both the truth. Some of what the mom song sounds just like my mama. I also like the teenager remix, its the truth! (:

Wow. Just wow Mr. Downing I liked it, but yet that was the randomest thing I've ever seen. But I think it was hilarious because it was so true.
