Have You Seen Saturn

http://www.earthsky.org/radioshows/53054/bright-planet-near-moon-on-april-6-is-saturn

Earlier this week, the planet Saturn was very visible near the moon in the night sky. From the news article, it was most visible on Monday night, but should be visible for the next several nights. Have you checked it out? I must confess: I really enjoy astronomy and enjoy looking at the moon, stars and planets at night. Do you like to view objects in the night sky?

Please check out the web site and then post your comments. Will you try to check out the sky tonight? Are you as curious to see this as I am?

I don't like astronomy! This is very boring! I don't know what to type! I don't like any science at all! I don't even know where Saturn is?? But you like it so you have fun with it!!!!

No, im not that interested in the sky or the solar system. Honestly, I could care less about what planets are showing. I have many more important things to do in my time out of school then stand outside and look at the stars and the moon. Astronomy is just not the thing for me.

I like astronomy as well, but no I did not see saturn. It would have been nice to see Saturn, as it would have been nice to see Venus a while back. Though if I may make a request, could you pick an more interesting topic.

This is pretty cool, I only look at the stars when like I am on the beach or maybe when I go camping or something, other than that I don't really look at the sky. Astronomy just is not my thing.

wow i didn't know about that, now that i do i will start looking for it every time i hear about it. i will maybe look for it when i am out-side at night.

I have not seen Saturn in the sky knowingly. I do enjoy astronomy but not looking at objects through a low power telescope which shows very little detail. I do like trying to figure out things pertaining to the universe. For instance, the theory of supermassive black holes at the center of the galaxy which causes the gravitational pull.

No, I'm not that interested in astronomy. I don't have much time to look at the sky at night. Not only that, I don't keep up with news about planets and when they are able to be seen. I don't know much about the solar system. I like the stars and moon in the sky, but I'm not so interested that I would take a lot of time to look at them.

Honestly I don’t think astronomy is all that inserting, and I will not be looking at Saturn tonight, I do think if you find astronomy fun, I think you should continue to do that, Me however, I really don’t like it.

I’m not really into astronomy, like looking for planets and things, but I do like looking at the stars. There’s something about them that is sort of peaceful. It’s crazy that there are so many that it’s impossible to count, and that some are so far away that there light hasn’t even reached us yet. I guess it’s the mystery that I like.

Astronomy is not important to me. When i look at the sky to look at the stars, I have no clue what im looking at. I do not find it interesting but you may, and that's okay. That's why we are all different.

Honestly I love astronomy and I know what you’re talking about because I was looking for it that night. It was really cool most people probably don’t find it interesting but it really is. How can you not be drawn to shining lights in the sky? There so beautiful from down here even though there really not up close. And the moon interest me even more than the stars in my eyes it’s awesome.

I have no interest in looking into the sky for things. I find it boring, point less and time consuming. But if you enjoy it then its all you go for it.

I wouldn't say that i love astronomy, but I do enjoy looking at the stars. I looked last night around 8:30. Its amasing to me, just to know what's out there. Although I didn't see it last night, I'll see if i can check it out tonight.

This is pretty interesting, I enjoy astronomy but to an extent. I do like seeing the stars and planets but often do not take the time to look at them. Sorry Mr. Downing, but I don’t think I will see Saturn due to the fact that I probably won’t look for it.

I don't really like astronomy very much but it's still cool to see something in the sky like stars or planets.Astronomy is not my best subject. But I think by tonight I will forget to look for Saturn. Astronomy is not my best subject.
