Everyone likes to travel and go places. Is that correct? Over the next week or so we will hear a lot of news about travel during the Thanksgiving Holiday, and how busy it is. Do you like to travel? Where have you been and where would you like to go? Tell us about these in your posting. Remember it is to be at least five sentences. Proofread!!!

Most people travel during the holidays. They travel to meet others and see their family. I have been to many states for holidays and other occasions. For the holidays I would like to go back to New York and see my grandmother. Sometimes holidays are spoiled because people cannot travel. This can keep you away from your family and friends. Most people travel during Christmas and Thanksgiving, but sometimes their travel can be delayed because of weather or other obstacles.
I have not been many places, but I have been to a couple states. My favorite state to have been was North Carolina. I used to live there which made it even better. I loved all the mountains and the trees. When I used to travel, it would usually be to go to museums and aquariums and things of that nature. As I get older, I want to eventually travel the world. The first place I want to visit is Japan. I like the flowers and the fashion and I would love to learn more about the culture.
I enjoy traveling, especially to new places. I traveled to Kentucky for a horse show last year and there was so many interesting things that I saw. I went to the race track where the Kentucky Derby is located. I also have been to Kansas with my best friend in 200 7. The wildlife was beautiful there and everyone was friendly. I find traveling extremely fun to do especially when you just are going for a vacation. I have traveled many places to do horse shows but I never get to see or do many things while I am there. I would love to travel many places and meet different people and the way that they live.
I absolutely LOVE to travel. To me, everyone should travel to at least one place outside of the state they live in to get the whole experience of traveling. Personally I have been to, the Carolinas, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, New York, Massachusetts, Florida, California, and Jamaica. Through all of my travels, I saw a lot of new places and a lot of places I would’ve liked to live in.
Well I don't travel a lot but when I do travel I find it to be a lot of fun. Because it gets boring just sitting around the house all the time, so I like to get out and go places. The only place that I have traveled to so far is North Carolina, and that was when I went to the lake with my sister. Traveling with my family is always fun because I always goof around in the car, just to get on everybody’s nerves. And we always go to my grandma's house for thanksgiving to eat TURKEY!
Travel can be fun; going places and seeing friends and family. However, it can also be dangerous. Every day, you hear of car wrecks, or people being injured while traveling. Just yesterday a vehicle rolled out on 460. Traveling is a fun experience, but with all the people out there trying to get somewhere, it can get dangerous. Thanksgiving and winter holidays are two of the biggest travel holidays of the year. Hopefully, this year everyone makes it home for Xmas.
Throughout my life, my family and I have traveled at least four times a year to various places. For my birthday and Christmas, we travel up to Long Island, New York. There, we stay at my Grandma’s house for a couple of days, where the food is absolutely delicious. When we aren’t in New York, we visit our family in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. This town has to have one of the most relaxing atmospheres on earth. During the summer, we drive to the Appalachian Mountains and stay in a small cabin for a week. Although the pool and ping pong table’s ability to entertain us makes up for the cramped size there. We’ve even visited Utah and Yellowstone National Park. I’ve been very satisfied with my traveling history so far, and hope to continue visiting new places every year.
Over the Thanksgiving Holiday a lot of people will be traveling to see their families. Unfortunately, a lot of them will most likely be disappointed by a canceled flight or horrific traffic. I am very lucky that I get to stay home. My family comes to my house for Thanksgiving, so I don’t have to worry about flights being canceled or horrific traffic. I like to travel, sometimes. But most of the time I am the type that likes to stay around home. I have been to Florida twice. The first time I went was in 9th grade with the band for a competition at Hard Rock Café and a Parade in Island of Adventures. The second time was this past summer when our Senior Youth Group went on a mission trip to St. Petersburg for a week. I have also been to Nags Head a few times during the summer. I loved it when I went to these places but I was glad when I got home. I really am the person to say “Home Sweet Home!”
Everyone likes to travel. Is that correct? In my opinion I don’t like to travel because, I become anxious in large crowds of people. Have I ever gone traveling? Yes, I have visited my grandparents in Kentucky and I have also gone to Orlando, Florida. While visiting my grandparents I felt at ease because I knew everyone but in Florida there are large crowds and many unknown places. Where do I wish to go? I wish to visit Asia because, the Tiger lives there, the tiger is one of my favorite wild animals. As you may know the tiger is an endangered species; I hope someone will find a way to save them! Overall, traveling can be enjoyable but it mainly depends on the person and their personality.
Traveling is big in my family, but lucky we aren't going far. it's not a long ride to Hampton. We used to travel a lot when i was younger, we still do, but not as much. I love to traveling up to the mountains and spending a whole week out of school and come back Sundays nights. I normally do that during Christmas. My favorite spot to go is my lake house at Lake Gaston. So I go to a lot of places so I think traveling is big in a lot of families.
I like to travel, I like going to different places. Traveling is fun you get to see new people and new things. I’ve been to many places like Chesapeake, Norfolk, especially Portsmouth to see my sister. I would like to go to different states and cities like Los Angeles, California, New York City, New York and Atlanta, Georgia and many more. I would like to travel to other countries like Paris, Tokyo, and Brazil.
I believe everyone likes to travel. I don’t know a person who doesn’t. I, of course, like to travel. I love to travel, but I’m terrified of trains, boats, big ships, and planes. I can only travel by car without panicking. I’ve been many places, but no further than Florida and Maryland. I’ve been to Jamestown, VA; Williamsburg, VA; Yorktown, VA; Atlanta, GA; Baltimore, MD; Covington, GA; North Carolina; and almost anywhere in Virginia. I would like to go to California, New York, France, England, Puerto Rico, Spain, Italy, Texas, Tennessee, and Mexico.
I love to travel and explore the world. I have not been to a lot of places but the places that I have been to were exciting. I have been to Maryland and Washington D.C. There are a lot of thing to visit in Maryland. When I went to Maryland I went to the wax museum where I had a lot of fun. I was amazed by the people that were made out of wax looked real. I have also been to Washington D.C. where I also had a great time because I had a chance to view United States history which is always interesting. I have always wanted to go to New York to go shopping and Jamaica just to see what it is like.
I love traveling. This past summer, me and my best friend went to Massanutten Resorts and stayed in a hotel for a while. I love traveling to stay in different hotels, especially one's with a great view. I would really love to travel out of the country. I would like to preferably go to Spain, or one of the neighboring countries around there. As for Thanksgiving holidays, I just usually go to Suffolk. So I don't travel a lot, but I love when I do.
Some people like to travel and some people don’t like to travel. My father hates traveling but my mother loves it I obviously got her genes on that chromosome. I love to travel! I’ve been up and down the east coast from New York to Florida. I want to travel the whole world and see all of the different types of cultures and how other people live, especially Europe. Europe is my favorite place to study in history. So many different things went on in Europe.
Traveling is something that my family loves to do. Every summer we take a family vacation and stay for two weeks. I have been to quite a few places. Some include Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Maryland, and New York. Pennsylvania was my favorite because I like to see the Amish lifestyle and look at the land. I would love to go on a cruise one day to a tropical island. That is my dream vacation because I love the beach and I would like to see the land features there. I think that everyone should travel somewhere to see something different. I think that many people would like it if they did it once. My family will definitely continue to travel and hopefully we will experience many more extraordinary things.
I believe that most people like to travel including me. The farthest place I have traveled would be California. I have family in Santa Fe, California, but I have only been there once. I have also been to Michigan, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. While we are traveling to Michigan we stop in different states on the way there because of course we drive because it’s a better view of the world than up in the sky. I love to fly though whenever I can I would like to fly back to California. I love to travel during Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, and during the summer. Traveling is so much fun you get to explore new places.
Everyone has traveled somewhere before in their lives. Many people travel during the holidays to see family and friends. My family does not travel during the holidays because our relatives live so far away. I have been to many states on vacations though. Most of my relatives live in Iowa and Minnesota, so I travel there once or twice a year to see them. I have also been to California to visit my Grandmother. One place I have not been but I would really like to go to is Europe. I would like to visit many of the countries in Europe because they are all very interesting. Another place is South America because I would like to see the rainforests. I love to travel because you get to see new places, and I hope that I will be able to travel a lot in the future.
I LOVE to travel to different places, I travel some place new every year. Last year during Christmas I traveled to New Orleans with the teenagers from my church. It was a wonderful place to go I saw so many beautiful trees and sites and places to shop! Traveling has always been an exciting thing for me do, because personally to me there's a reason why these places are here for and for me I want to continue to have adventure and travel take pictures and have fun. I hope other people decide to take that advantage and travel some place new, because it gets boring when you stay in one place all your life, so why not get up and TRAVEL PEOPLE!!
Not in all cases. Most people really don’t like to travel. I really think that we will hear a lot about this Thanksgiving holiday. I thank that it is really going to be busy these next few weeks because everyone that has family are going to see them and have Thanksgiving dinner with them. Yes, I love to travel and I have not be to that many place now but when I get out of school I’m thinking of traveling for a while. Right now I have only been to North and South Carolina but this summer I’m planning to go to Wisconsin to see my cousin.
During most holidays people travel to see their families and friends. I really enjoy traveling because I can get away from the usual routine. I have been to New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, South Carolina, and some other places. My favorite place to go is to Myrtle Beach during spring and fall because there are not that many people there. I hardly ever travel dur-ing holidays because most of my family lives in Virginia or North Carolina. I would really love to travel to India and be-cause I enjoy their culture and their clothes. They also have a very beautiful landscape.
During thanksgiving me and my family usually travel to my grandmothers house in North Carolina. I only travel on special occasions such as that. Sometimes the trip can be cancelled, because of bad weather. The last time I ever traveled was to see my sister in Mississippi for Christmas. The main reason I like to travel is to meet new people, and to visit other states.
I really like to travel. The long car trips are more fun now that I can take my turn driving. My parents let me drive most of the time. My most recent trip that was longer then four hours was the drive to my sister’s college in Unity Maine. It took about sixteen hours! My family used to go to Canada every other summer. We always drove and that a very long drive. I like to travel because I believe half the fun is getting there. Even if the trips are long or you get tired of being in the car with your family the vacation makes it all worth it. I’ve also flown quite a few times in my life. My furthest plane ride was either form Maine to Virginia or from Virginia to Colorado and back. We went to Colorado for my second cousins wedding back in 2003. I love to travel and see new places. I think I enjoy traveling around on my granddad’s boat most though. My family travels a lot but the trips that are the must fun are those where we go to visit other family members out of state. However, I love going to places I have never been before!
Yes I would like to travel. I haven’t been to that many places. But there are many places that I would love to go to like the ATL (Atlanta Georgia) I haven't been any where far and fun. This Thanksgiving I am going with my father to Suffolk were going to my step mom’s mother’s house to eat. Then we will go to my father mother’s house and sit and talk and eat over there too.
Yes I love traveling. I have never been to another country, but I have been to two other states. The best part of traveling is seeing stuff for the first time and .adapting to new habits. Even though the world is full of sites to see I have only witness three. During my life time I moved from Philly to Jersey and now VA. The first thing I saw when I came to Virginia was one of there amusement parks. If you really want to know the all time favorite thing about traveling you should try making a goal to visit another state or country then you’ll see and feel what I’m talking about.
I enjoy traveling, different places, it offers you a new experience. I have been privileged to go many places, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Washington, Florida, Georgia, and my favorite New York. I much rather fly anywhere than drive. Traveling gives you a chance to see that everywhere is not a custom to how you live. I love traveling because I like to take in new experiences, and meet new people.
I love to travel a lot because you get to sight see and sometimes meet new people. Stayin in the same place can sometimes drive you crazy. I dont really travel that much but just to go down the street to my cousins house is fun to me. Some of the States that I do travel to often are North Carolina, Maryland, of course Virginia since its where I live, and Petersburg. And those are just the states where I have Family members at. And thats the best Part!
I never travel before so I do not know how it feels. It most be fun because it is during the holidays and you see your love ones. In my eye there it is nothing better then seeing family. Thanksgiving is a perfect holiday to see love ones. In these days and times you need family.
