50 Jobs in 50 States in 50 Weeks? Think He Can Do It?

Meet Daniel Seddiqui. Daniel's  goal was to work 50 jobs in 50 states in the course of a year. Why? The biggest reason seems to be to get out of his comfort zone and to expand his knowledge of other cultures in the Untied States. Take a look at a television interview and also this interview.

Many of his jobs seem to be interesting and several of them might be of interest to you. I also note that his jobs lasted a week, which may not be very long to decide if you like the job or not!

The good news is that in late September, he completed the quest. Were you concerned that he might not? What do you think was the most rewarding part of the journey? Were there negatives to his journey, and maybe most importantly, would you want to try it? Tell us what you think of this job journey and remember to proofread!

I think Daniel is dumb. His jobs are a waste of time. I wish he would just get one job and stick with it.

I can't believe he's going all over the country just to get a job then lose it. It just doesn't make sense. If you can get a good job, why not keep it?

Unknown said...

I think it is stupid. Because if he had a good job then why didn't he keep it. I wouldn't do it though, because he had some good jobs that he couldn't get before.

That is very intriguing. That is a bright idea to travel around the country, and learn new trades. I believe that he is smart to di this, and than to right a book about it. He might not have to work very much after all.

His journey was amazing. That's a great thing he is doing. I think the hardest part of his journey is finding jobs. I think the easiest part is the actual work he is doing. I would love to do something like this.

I think what he doing is amazing and interesting. I would love to travel to all 50 states just to see how they live. But I think it’s kind of dangerous to, well I don’t know. I think some people from other states are crazy. They do weird things.

I think it would be fun to experimnet with something like this. He had some good jobs though that he walked out on. A Pertoleum Engineer is a good job, because they work for the petroluem companies. I dont understand why he is doing this, I think its pretty dumb.

This guy is brave.I cant believe he went through all that. Its weird and messed up that this guy can get a job in every state, but a average guy can barley even get one.

I think that what he is doing is interesting. It is something different and unique. I also think that he will have good things come from this experience.

I think what this guy is doing is smart. With the traveling you get to see what other people do for their jobs. I think that this is more effective than learning in college. When your in college you don't experience the jobs first hand so you really can't tell if thats a job that you really enjoy.

Hello Mr. downing. I think this is a strange because so many people complain saying there are no job, but he comes along and get a job within a week. I think this shows you that there are jobs out there, people are just to lazy to look for them, or it’s just something they don’t like doing. I think what he is doing is great because he is showing people that there are jobs out there . I also think that he has lost his mind, and is crazy.

I think that what he is doing is very odd. I don't know anyone besides him to do that just to get a job. What he is doing is very different and unique. I think that now he should be able to get a job anywhere.

Traveling to each state to experience different cultures by taking on jobs that reflect the states economy sounds pretty cool. Also he gets to keep the money he has earned from each job. I wonder how much he has earned from each state and the total amount.

I think that he is weird. Why would he do that? I don't understand how he keeps getting jobs back to back. If I were him I just would have keep the job that I was comfortable with.

I think that this man did this job spree because he wanted to see what it is like different 50 states to work. He looked like he enjoyed all the hard work. In a way I'm surprised and in another way I'm not. I can't think of anyone that goes across the U.S. to work 50 jobs, in 50 states, in 50 weeks. It's an experience for him though.

I think this is a perfect waste of time. I can say that he is smart though, because you have to do what you have to do to make it. I think that this a good way to travel the world. I don't think that these jobs should hire someone just to play them like that. I think that he should at least work more than a week. I don't think that his book will sell well though, because this is stupid.

I think that Daniel is very brave. I would love to do something like that Traveling around the United States looking for a interesting job that best suits me. I saw a few things that I liked that Daniel did while he traveled. He's a pretty cool guy.

I think its crazy that hes traveling the U.S to work in 50 states. Its also a waste of time. It is cool that he gets to travel the world and learn new things. But he should just get a job and stay there.

I think that Daniel id very brave to do what he's doing. Traveling the United Staes looking for jobs and whatever else. Traveling is what I would like to do later on down the rode. It's dangerous but yet fun! You get to see what all is out there, you get to see what you never seen before, it's a life changing experience.

This man has a very good perspective on life. He knows how hard and how important jobs in this world can be. During his travels, I'm sure he will learn to have great respect for all the hardworking citizens in the U.S. He will also hopfully learn how much fun people can have even when there working.

I think it is really good for him to travel and work 50 jobs. I believe it is encouraging other people. I don't think I would have liked the meat packing job. I would love to travel and work as many jobs as he does.

It's good to see people trying new things. He is exposing himself to many different cultures, people, and locales. I hope he does complete his book. Hearing the accounts of all this is definately interesting. He set himself on a goal (which was certainly not an easy one) and completed it in style. Kudos to you, Daniel Seddiqui.

I think this guy is very courageous! I would love to travel to all 50 states just to see how they live. I also think that he will have good things come from this experience. If I was him once I found a good job, that I really enjoyed I would stop looking and stay where the money at!

I think this is a very interesting idea. I would love to go around and see the country and have all of those great experiences. You get to meet new people and learn a lot about the state. It was cool to see all the jobs he did, including his Virginia job, a Monticello grounds worker. If his book makes a lot of money, and it probably will, he won't really need a job. Daniel had a crazy, but great idea.

I think he is very weird for wanting to do this. What is the point? It is a waste of good jobs and pointless. Their may be one good thing about it, though. He might make it rich off his book. If that happens, then what he is doing makes it all worth it. Other then that, i do not see what he is getting out of this but if it floats his boat, then whatever.

I think that this was a really good idea. His experiment shows that there are plenty of jobs out there just waiting for someone to want them. I think that it would be pretty cool to try this, if I couldn't find a job or something like that, like him, then I would definitely try it. I mean who would pass up the opportunity to travel to all the states in the US, definitely not me. :)

Unknown said...

I think it's a good idea. Maybe he did this to build self-confidence in himself, because in his own state he’s gotten turn down a lot. The more he moves the more money he can make, so I think he should keep doing what he is doing.

Well he is out of the ordinary, but he has a lot of courage. This seems like a interesting way to sample jobs. What I'm wondering about is if he is making all this money from jobs is this going to effect his taxes? Also how did he get so many jobs and I am just now hearing about him for the first time?

Unknown said...

I think that he is a very reluctant young man. I am very confident theat he will find the job he likes and hopefully find one i nCalifornia he likes. I will very surprised if he dosen't find one he really likes. His travel will be very intriguing and exciting.

I would take tips from this guy any day. it says that in late September, he finished his quest for "50 jobs in 50 states in 50 weeks". but still, how did he get the Petroleum Engineer job... I mean, you have to have qualifications for that job. and then you must be trusted not to give any to the Terrorists and Mob. But still, all and all, he got a lot of jobs.
