How many of you recycle? Judging by my trash cans in this room, it is not as many as it should be. A recycling box is near the teacher's desk and a bag is by my door. Yet I seem to always be finding papers in my trash cans! You can do better than that!
What caught my attention is that Christmas Trees are being recycled in lakes and other bodies of water to promote fish habitats. There is a project ongoing at Lake Smith near my house in Virginia Beach using trees.
Look at this site. Do they make it easy to recycle? Does it make you want to recycle? Is recycling important and why? Can you think of ways that you can do more to recycle? Finally, do you recycle?

Well I don't recycle (but I should). To me I think recycling is important, because it helps our environment. And I think it was neat how they put trees in lakes to help the fish out. Um no I can't think of anything that I could do as of right now. And no I don't recycle
I do not recycle as much as I could. Recycling Christmas trees is something new to me. By the way it sounds, people make it is to recycle Christmas trees and other things. I could recycle paper more and soda cans. I do not usually recycle, but I think now I will look into it.
Recycling is important. It is good for the environment and is an excellent way to save the earth while saving money. It would be nice for everyone to go green, but a lot of people don’t. The only time I do is in first bock (here) and I should more but I don’t. The only recycling I may do from time to time is saving the milk from my cereal and using it later. Green is good.
I do think they make it easy to recycle but I honestly don’t think it will make me want to recycle anymore than I do. Recycling is important to everyone but a lot of people don’t do it. I personally recycle when I feel like it. I can’t really think of any more ways to recycle than what we already know. Recycling is a very good thing to get into and everyone should do it but they don’t.
Yes, I do think they make easy to recycle. Yes, it does make me want to recycle and probably everyone else too. We can have a sweepstake, like who ever recycle the most trash will win a brand new car.
I think that recycling like this is simple and easy. I think just because of how simple it is more people will want to recycle. Recycling is very important to the world because it makes resources usable for a longer time period. The trees could also be used as firewood or building material. I recycle old cans and bottles with my dad whenever our recycling bin becomes filled. I admit it may be a tad bit annoying to pick up 200 cans and smash them, but it’s worth it to make the world I live in a better place.
Recycling is important because it keeps the earth clean. People throw trash on the road and they should be a shame of themselves for doing it. If a cop sees you littering they would give you a ticket. When I read things about recycling it makes me want to recycle what ever I see.
I don’t recycle, but I think it is important. Maybe one day I will start to recycle, but I don’t know I might not. Recycling is important because it’s good for the environment. I don’t know why, but I just don’t recycle. It just seems easier to put it in a trash can. I should start to recycle at home and at school and that would save more stuff and I guess help the environment.
I don’t think it is easy to recycle in our town. We used to have a recycle truck come around once a week like the trash truck and pick up all your recycling stuff, but they did away with the recycling truck. You can still recycle, though. Recycling is important because we are trying to cut down on the trash and go eco-friendly. I think that we could recycle a little bit more by not throwing the newspapers away and recycling soda cans and bottles. We try to recycle around my house but the only thing that seems to get recycled is soda cans and bottles because the youth group I am in at church collects the cans to take to the recycling place as a fundraiser for our mission trips.
Recycling is a very important part of our environment. My family has an inorganic tree (probably more for ease rather than for the environment). These days, it seems more people are recycling. Everyone has their own reasons, most of which are meant with good intentions. It is important to take care of the earth because it's our home. Most people don't have filthy, littered houses, so why would we want a filthy, littered planet? As for me and my family, we do not recycle. I promote it, but never have the time to put the effort out, and no one else in my family seems to care. It's not that we are horrible people. The only things I think we could recycle are old soda bottles. I've never seen anyone throw away papers or anything like that. I've realized that in order to do anything, everyone involved needs to help. If we want a green earth, then everyone needs to work for it. Anyone who recycles has my respect and support.
Recycling is something everyone should do. I have been trying to be better about that. I think that people should promote recycling more by advertising it and showing the effect it'll have on the environment. I'm sure that everyone is aware of how bad our environment has become. Taking just a few steps to becoming green will help no matter how small of a step it is.
I dont recycle, even though I should. I always knew it was a good thing to, because it is good for the environment. I never heard of recycling trees, but it helps out to the environment then why not start! My family has never really took the time to recycle but maybe we should start.
Well all we do with our tree is put it out in the woods. I think that it is a good idea to recycle the trees. However, in this area, they do not advertise how you would do that. I do not recycle, even though I know I should. If I just happen to have a water bottle or something like that, and I see a recycling binn; I do put the bottle inside of it. My grandpa is really into recycling, and I think it's really cool that he does that.
To be personally honest with you I really don’t recycle all that much. At home we collect cans, but they just sit in a bag in my garage. I think that we all should start recycling more to better the economy. Recycling is not very easy at all, but we all need to take time to recycle. Everyday we throw away stuff that we know should be recycled. So stop everything your doing and start recycling TODAY!!!
I don't recycle as much, as I could. Recycling helps our environment in many ways. I hear more about recycling now than ever before, you see recycles bags and such. People wear a lot of "Go Green" shirts...does that mean they recycle I am going try and do my part.
I do not recycle as much as I should. At my house we have a huge barrel that we put soda cans in but that is about it. I think it is cool that people can use Christmas trees to help out fish, build up sand dunes, and help in their gardens. It is important to recycle because we only get one world so we need to do our best to keep it clean. This blog makes me want to recycle more and hopefully I will start to be more conscientious when the next time I go to throw paper in the trash can.
This site makes it very easy to recycle. All you have to do is type what you have and your area code in an information bar and it will tell you what to do with the items. I do want to start recycling. I could start using a reusable bottle for my water instead of plastic bottles. I recycle paper products but that is about it.

Yes I think that there make it easy to recycle your old Christmas tree in more then one way. I always wonted to recycle but I never have time to do what I need to do throw out the day now. Yes recycling is important cause all the trash that we as humans use can also be used again. No I do not recycle, because there is no point in doing it if there are trash cans in this world. Many people do not recycle, because when i'm walking down the street I see lots of paper wrappers and bottles on the ground. Most people just recycle for the money. But I might consider recycling in the future, because it does makes life a lot easier.
