Don't Judge a Book by its Cover
We have all heard it before about judging someone based solely on their appearance. You may have already seen this video of Charlotte and Jonathan. If you have not, do you notice his weight and think less of him because of that? If you have seen the video form Britain's Got Talent, did you have a pre-conceived notion of him prior to singing? What did you think of Simon's comments? Were they out of line? Watch the video and listen to the duo sing. What do you think? Have a good weekend!

I thought that the video was very touching. They did outstanding! It really does show how you should not judge a book by its cover.

The first thing you notice about the duo is Jonathan’s weight, but you cannot judge him because of that. Simmons comments about Charlotte were not very nice but it is his opinion. I do think he was out of line, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions. If only he would say them in a nicer manner.

The boy should Gently request that the girl pack her stuff. He may honestly be held back by her. She is a good singer, but not the caliber that he is.

You should not judge a book by the cover. The boy sung fantastically and the girl sung great with him. Simon should have never said for him to ditch her.

I wouldn't judge Simon for his comment for a couple reasons: at first, it's his job, also we all judge people at first on their physical appearance. It's called 1st impression.
I think he has a great voice and talent, but I think this show will just help him to achieve temporary fame. Nobody remembers the winner of this kind of show after a year.
Wow! that is an amazing video. the fact that he just proved so many people wrong. Is just a big motive to all the people who let people tell them what they can and cant do. don't listen to those type of people.

When they walked out on stage you couldn't help but notice his weight. However, you cannot judge a person because of that. They did an amazing job and after their performance nobody seemed to notice his weight anymore.

We all do it, everyone in the world judges someone for some reason. What really matters is that you take the time to get to know the person and not let your judgements overtake your emotions. I think Simon's comments were not needed. Johnathan said at the beginning of his audition that if it wasn't for Charlotte he wouldn't have even been there. They need each other emotionally and physically.
Occasionally I do judge a book by its cover. I do think that what Simon said to the other judges was crude and uncalled for he shouldn’t have said that until he heard what a wonderful singer he was. And it was a wonderful performance by the both of them.

Honestly I am going to admit that when I saw him walk on stage I didn’t think he was going to do good, but when he started singing I was so shocked. What Simon said was unnecessary, that girl was also amazing but apparently he didn’t think so.
At the beginning of this video I even was just thinking, "Wow...um, why is he there?" i don't try to judge a person on the first base, and never really know who I'm meeting until the first moment is over. It's human nature to judge on first sight, yet that's the worst case scenario to occur. They were amazing and they stood by each other and took the way till the end!
I was very impressed with them both! I was not expecting that from Jonathan nor Charlotte. The people in the audience and the judges, judged Jonathan about his weight, but like what Charlotte said "you can't judge a book by it's cover." Simmons comments weren't very neatly said. He should of told Charlotte his opinions in a nicer way.

Simon is an honest person but it’s kind of rude also, he shouldn’t have judged Jonathan the first time he saw him like he did. Because as you seen, he loved the way Jonathan sounded at the end. He shouldn’t have treated the girl the way he did, they both did very well to me. But everyone has their own opinions on things.

Of course, you judge a book by it's cover because first impressions mean a lot. The problems occur when you speak and act on the thoughts that you have used to judge someone. Simon's comments were uncalled for! It was rude how he wanted them to break-up even though they were a duo. He should not have been openly so rude, and the way he dissed the girl was totally uncalled for. Simon told her that she was holding him back, yet with-out her the boy would have not auditioned if it where not for the girl.

That was just amazing. He did so good, and so did Charlotte, even though she should have more credit than she was given. It's so sad that people can judge someone just by their appearance. You should never judge a book by its cover.
