Imagine being in the British Navy and leaving for a seven week training exercise. Now try to imagine that it soon turns into a seven month deployment as your ship is assigned other tasks. So, maybe you want to record a video to send home to families and friends letting them know you are on your way home. Navy ships do it all the time. Would you make it serious or funny, especially with the holidays approaching? You decide on funny and create one unforgettable video that rapidly goes viral and is seen on most every news service throughout the world.

That movie was so funny. But there were to many dudes in the movie. And the dude wearing the British flag as a dress was really weird.
This videos is funny. I think if I was in the middle of nowhere I would make a video. But not like this. Plus they must have been very very bored.
Wow its a boat filled with Littlefeild's. They have to much time on there hands i know your in the middle of the ocean but still.
I love this video and I think it's hilarious! If I were related to anyone on that ship I would definitely laugh at it. Of course I would be sad too because I couldn't see them in person. I wouldn't have done anything different in this video, I think it's great.

I think the video is a little bit funny. I would have done a little bit of things different in the video but it was funny. I think they took a lot of time to practice this and get it right.
I think this video was very awkward. I feel bad for them because they're basically stranded out in the middle of some ocean. I don't know how I would be able to think of something to do in the middle of the ocean. I would basically be 'bored to tears.' I'm glad they found something to while away from their families. Just because they can still send a little something to go to their loved ones, while still being out there doing their jobs.

If I were to go out to sea like that I would make a funny video for my family. But in my opinion that video wasn't funny. It's cool that they did that for there families though.
I thought this video was the one of the funniest things i've ever seen. They must have been bored to make a video like that. I guess you have to do something to keep you from boredum. I think I would be embarrassed for people to know that was someone in my family. Other than that a great video
This is a very cute video. When my dad was deployed all I got from him were cassette tapes and they took weeks to get to and from. Videos like these can really help keep a family. I actually watch the Marines in Afganistan on YouTube and they make many videos just like this.
In my opinion, the video was funny. I think that what they did was a good idea, especially since they all had a sense of humor, and most likely the video went out to their loved ones to see and enjoy. It was also cool because it took their minds off of things and allowed them to be happy while being employed for once.
I think that this video is too funny!! It was very creative and I wouldn't even had thought of something like that to send to someone. If I would have gotten this video I would have laughed on some parts and then cry o the others, because I know that they have hard times over there and also they miss there family.
O man there are some sexy men on that boat! "Bowww Chikkaa Woowwoo!" Yet why do they have so much time on their hands? Why is that one dude wearing a bathing suit in the shower? Shouldn't he be naked? The men on that ship are either bored out of their minds or they just like having a good time! People in my class argue they have to much time on their hands... well what would you be doing?
I think some of it is very funny. I had a hard time trying to understand the humor of this video. allthough I thought the video was great.The dude with the flag as a Dress was creepy.

That video was cool, if i was someone that knew somebody and they sent that too me i woud be laughing soooo hard. It was funny, its something you dont see every day. If i could do one thing diffrent it would be, more vieos with diffrent songs or put some personal message to family member in the end.

I think this video is funny. I will assume that all the British sailors were just bored and ready to be home. So, they decided to make a Christmas Video that cheered them up along with their families.

I myself didn't find the video very funny. I know I have a different humor than most people though. I can see why they did it though. That would be a very good way of lightening everyone's mood about the long time they've spent together out in sea. If I was on the receiving end of the video, seeing my family member doing the things they did on the video would be very funny to me. I think it is a good idea that the captains let their sailors do such a video.

It's fuuny, but still they have a little to much time on their hands. Then again they are out in the middle of no where.
I think it was a very entertaining video. I think that if a family member saw this they would be laughing. I would much rather make a funny video than a serious one because it is supposed to be a happy time of year.

The video was very creative. It was a way to show their holiday spirit. Showing someone that video would definitely brighten someone 's day. The ending was very cool.
The beginning of the video was funny. Over all it was sweet, and if I were a family member receiving a video like that it would definitely make up for their absence. The end was really creative, too.

This video is funny and creative. Also, it is a good way to let their family members know that they are okay and happy. People are saying they have too much time on their hands, however, what else is there to do in the middle of the ocean for seven months? Atleast they are staying happy and serving their country.
I think the video was great! It was pretty funny too. I would rather see a funny video like that of my family member or loved one rather than a normal video of them just saying something. It shows that they took their time out of their day just to make a video for their loved ones back home. It was really nice and i really liked the ending.
That video was freaking amazing to start this comment off and secondly if I was them I wouldn't be mad at all. The video was cute, funny, creative and landed them on TV so they can't be but so mad about that.I myself would probably get my crew together and do a video like this if I was stuck out at sea for Christmas and wanted to show my family how great my crew was & that even though I"m stuck out at sea they are on my mind and they have something to be grateful for; the fact that I'm alive and well enough to make a funny video for them.
I agree with Ryan, after serving our country and being deployed for 7 months they should be able to have a little free time to have fun. They have earned it.
Well considering that they were originally only supposed to be gone for seven weeks and it turned into a seven month trip, I would also make a video to let my family know that I would be back for Christmas. Granted sometimes Navy humur is sort of strange if you don't understand it. I didn't really think that the video was funny, but I didn't think of it as weird either. I mean if I was on a ship for seven months with the same people and didn't know when I would get back home I would want to make a video too.
Im kinda mad they had to waist time for 7 months when they could have been spending time with their kids but yeah... They making it up for christmas. They seem Happy on That video but im pretty sure they wax miserable.
I absolutely love this video. Since I am planning on joining the military it's nice to know that not everything is always serious. I know that there may be times when I will be sent on a week long trip and be gone for months. That's just how the military works. I think this video is serious, yet funny.
That was so funny. I think it would be fun to make one of those! I liked the last thing they did, where the spelled out words. It was really creative, I bet thier famalies at home loved watching that.
I wouldn't really call it funny. I can see it being amusing for the families at home watching it though. Anything to take their mind off not being home for the holidays and boredom, then why not? I would laugh at an individual family member, but again the video isn't that funny. I wouldn't have done it in that format.

Oh my goodness, I could just cry! That was the sweetest and most adorable video ever. It gives a lighter mood to a difficult situation, such as the fact that these men and women have been separated from their families for a while. It also gives a joyful feeling about their return! It was so funny and I enjoyed watching it. Some parts were kinda creepy, but I guess that they are just meant to add to the humor. If I was a family member, I would definitely find the video amusing. I wouldn't have changed a thing!
