Mother's Day has been celebrated on the second Sunday in May for many years. Check out the wiki page on Mother's Day. Mother's Day became an official American holiday in 1912.For many people, inlcuding me, moms have had a profound influence on making our lives better. Personally speaking, I will never be able to fully comprehend all my mom has done for me, including standing by me during some really tough times.

I think mother's day is a really great day. I love mom so much really really really wish I could do more for her. I plan on giving her some art work as gift and see what I could do around the house.
I think that this holiday is an excellent idea. We don't always have time to take out of our busy schedules (which is sad)to appreciate our parents. My mom does a lot for me, and she could use a break. I think that my family and I are going to make my mom breakfast, and from there just make sure she has a good day.
Well, I'm taking my mom, Cousin Faith, and Grandma to go to Golden Corral. Then, while were eating I'm going to give my mom a "World's best mom Award". I think it's going to be great on Mother's day and the best part is that my don't know she's going out to eat on Sunday. :)
Well I love mother’s day! I love having a day to tell my mom thanks and a day to apologize for the mistakes I have done. For mother’s day this year I can’t really do a lot but my mother and I love strawberries and for the longest time we have talked about strawberry picking, so I have decided to take her out to a farm and spend some time picking the food we love. This is simple and cheap but I think my mom will love it! <3 (:
Mothers Day is an ok holiday. I may get my mom some breakfast. I may get her some jewelry like a necklace and bracelet. I am going to give her a handmade card.
I am spending my mother’s day with my grandmother, she has been there through everything that I go through and I think she deserves a day to relax. Me and my dad are taking her out to dinner and during the day we are going to see the movie she really wants to see. I think it’s a really good holiday to have, because moms do a lot for us and they might not get the appreciation that they need, so its good for them to get that one special day.
I think Mother’s day is a great holiday, because mothers do so much for their children...well I know my mother does! I am going shopping for her on Saturday. I have no idea what to get her. Sunday I am planning on waking up early and making her breakfast, that is if I can wake myself up.
Well I live with my grandmother and I plan to make her a card. She likes the ones I make myself better then ones bought. I also bought her a shirt she will enjoy. I think is a great holiday. Your mother gives you the best gift of all, life! Even though I don't live with my real mother, my grandmother has been my mom. She does it all on her own too. She has 3 kids, 15 grandkids, 2 great grandkids, and still working. Thats a mother for you! I could never thank my grandma enough. She has been the best mother I could ever ask for.
Mother’s day is a great day to celebrate because for one, if it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t be here in the world today. I already have my mother’s day gift ready for my mom Sunday. My family and I made a collage of photos of everyone throughout the year. I love my mom and I’m sure everyone else does too. That’s what make mother’s day so special.
I think the holiday is great, Mom’s do a lot for us, and without out them we would probably be lost! The plans for my mom are the same, like every other year. Just spending time with her, while she gets to take a break.
Mother's Day is an important holiday because it recognizes all our mothers do for us. Many often forget to think their mothers for all that they have done but this day serves as a reminder. On Mother's Day I plan to go to church with my mom and grandmother.

Well of course I have plans for my mom. I love my mom, and at times it may seem like she doesnt love me but I know she does. This week was the hardest week of my life and she stuck by me the whole way through. Sunday is going to be very good for her becuase she rarely sees me anymore. Now she gets to have me all weekend and all that fun stuff. But I've also got to make her something. I asked her if she wanted me to buy her something and she told me to make something so I'm making her a present. Hope she likes it.
Mother's day is a day that all mothers is being appreciated. Mother's day is one of the best holidays. Every day should be Mother's day because you should always appreciate your mother. On Monday's day, I'm going to give my mom and my Godmother a really nice card. If I had my license I would take both of them out for dinner.
I personally think it's a great idea to give every mother a single day to relax and be proud of how far she's come with her family. I want to make the best drawing for my mom to keep when I'm out of the house and living on my own. It's the least I can do for everything that she's done for me.

Aww I love Mother's Day. Eventhough you should always honor your mother and father, its great to make your mother feel appreciated about how far she's made it in life. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in the world!!!!! I LOVE YOU MOM!!!!!!!!
