Have you heard "The Mom Song" by comedienne Anita Renfroe? The YouTube sensation has been viewed many times, both on television and the Internet. Here is the premise: in just about three minutes she sings all the things a mom might say in a typical day. Very funny and entertaining.
Of course, there is the other side of the equation, that is what a teenager thinks of this. Here is Ms. Renfroe's version. And the teen version. After viewing the videos, post your thoughts. Remember your post must be 3-5 sentences.

These videos are so funny and creative. On the mother’s video about half of the stuff she said sounded like my mother which is so funny but that’s a lot of talking and demanding for one day. On the other hand the girl’s video, she may not be the best at singing but the video is so perfect! She really nailed the point of the song and recreated it very well. These songs are great because they are so on point about children and mothers daily lives.
I think that the videos were both very funny. It shows almost everything a parent and teenager say in a day. They both speak very fast in the songs, I don't think I could talk that fast!
I think that the song is very cute, and funny. I also think that its too fast to learn. I also think that alot of other people will find it hard to learn.
The mom version is HILARIOUS! A lot of the things she says in her song are true, but we only do it because we know it gets on their nerves. The kid’s version is funny, EVERYTHING she said was true, I hate it when my parents do that kind of stuff to me when they want me to do something for them! But at the end of the day I still love my parents.
I thought the mom song was better than the teen song. But both videos where funny. That's what i think about the two videos
I think that "The Mom Song" is very unique and creative. Anita Renfroe did a good job with the lyrics in a mom's perspective, and it also gives kids and teenagers a look through the eyes of their moms. The teen version, on the other hand, was really funny too. I think I liked it so much because it was a song through the eyes of a teen that kind of explains why teens do some of the things that they do. Both were very imaginative and funny.
The song it’s kind of ok but it needs to be more specific. I don’t really like because it’s not my type of music to listen to. They need a better singer to sing it.
I actually think that this is really funny! You get the mom's point of view but you also get the kids version of it to. Yeah teenagers are difficult to live or deal with. But were really not that bad, and sometimes parents can be hectic to!
It’s kind of funny because that is everything a mom tells you as you grow up. Will it ever end? Us teens also see that you do these things for our best but we would like to take a chance at making our own decisions. If we screw up so what, being parents you know you did it too. I just think parents now a day’s try to hard. Let your children come to you don’t put pressure or bug them with little things it aggravates us, and that’s when the argues start. It gets old for us too.
Keith Bryant: I feel these videos are a great way of showing the struggles of the standard home. You can also see the love that a mother has for her children, for this is why she does all off the things she does, even if it is arguing with you, it is only because she cares for you. From the children, or teens point of view you look at it as the parents being unfair or not letting you be a child and having fun.
This video is very entertaining. I don’t live with my mother but with my grandmother and I hear her say all those things said in the mom’s video all day. I always say the things said in the kid’s version back to her. This video was cute. In the end she told her kids she loves them and the child tells her mother she loves her. This video was very accurate and funny.
I thought the mom version was very funny! It is exactly what moms do. The kid version was not my favorite, but some of the things she said is really true, sometimes I hate doing things my parents ask me to do because they could just do it themselves, but at the end I still love my parents no matter what.
I tought the mom vision was kind of funny and I think its amazing how she was able to remember all those words. In the teen vision I think the person singing has a point that a little freedom can't hurt. Even though parents make so many rules they do it because they love us.
The mom song by Anita Renfroe was hilarious. Everything she said about children is true. Also, it’s amazing how she wrote her own lyrics to the song. I really hate when my parents remind me to do things I know I have to do, but like all parents they do those things just because they love you.

I never heard that song before. I thought it was pretty funny though. I liked the kid version too. The mom video sounded like my mom. Sum of the stuff on the kid on sounded like me.

The mother's video was weird and funny. You can tell she was a mom because she talk like one. The teen's video was boring. But it was a good point of view of a teenager. I like mother's video better than the teenager.
I think the mom song was interesting. I think it was kind of funny. The teenage video was also funny & had some good points.
The videos were funny. You listen, or well try to listen, to both point of veiws. One from the mom and teen. I mean come on now, teens are a handful and we are stubborn and moody (definatley), but the parents can be just as challenging. Funny videos though!
I thought thats the mom's video was funny and sounded alot like what my mom says through out the day. The girl's video was good but not as funny. I think everyone should hear that song to make us think about what we put our mom's through.
I agree with the all of the phrases in the song as I have heard more than half of them towrds me. However, I do not believe that this was very funny nor should it be directed at anyone such as teens or moms. I don't see the point in arguing to say that the teens or the moms are right I just say that both of us should be more understanding and that noone is perfect. We just have to learn to get along and accept each other for our advantages and disadvantages.
These videos are what the parents and teens. I think the moms are just expressing what they go through and how they feel about their teenager. The teens are just explaining how they feel about their moms.
I think that these songs are very funny, but true. Most people would never think to have both point of views showed for both mother and child. The mother version of the two songs is very true: Mothers are going to be very protective and caring for her child/children. And that would make a lot of sense. It's a mother's right to be worried about her child. On the other hand, the girl who sung the teenager point of view had a point also. Teenagers are going to be hard-headed and stubborn about little things. It is a typical response to a caring and protective mother. So i believe that the adults should loosen up a bit and give a little freedom from the rules every now and then at home. School is understandable that we have to obey them at all times. Loosen up guys! If you do, we teens might actually listen to you a lot more!

The first video was kind of funny however, the second one was not entertaining. The truth is that either way comparing to the video I always get asked to do more than what the mom says on the video. What I mean from that is favors that they could do theirselves, but instead they call me form the other side of the house just to do them a favor, I already do chores, tht's enough. I exist because God made me, not so I can do things that people could do theirselves while they do nothing.

I liked both of the videos very much, although I did like the mom one a lot more. It just seemed to go with the flow a lot better and made more since. I liked the teenage one to just not as much as the mom version.
