Welcome to 2010! How many of you stayed up on New Year's Eve to see in the New Year?
Here is today' s question. How do you pronounce 2010? I have heard some people call it "Twenty Ten" and others pronounce it "Two Thousand and Ten" and others calling it "Two Thousand Ten." I checked Google and there were over 21,000 hits to the question of how you pronounce 2010!
Please reply and let me know what you think. How will you pronounce 2010. Since we are getting back into the blogging habit, a simple one or two sentence reply will suffice. But, remember to proofread your work!

I will pronounce 2010 as Twenty-ten. I can't belive their were 21,000 hits on how to say it. People have way to much time on their hands.
I say two thousand ten because I dont like the way twenty ten sounds. It sounds like an address.
This year 2010 is prnounced twenty ten.

For the new year I pronounce 2010 as "twenty-ten" because its a new way to tell a year for the new decade and plus its easier to say.

I did not watch the fire works but i was up doing something. I call 2010 20 10 because that's how i hear most people say it.
The easy way to say it to me is twenty ten.

Well I did stay up and watch the ball drop. It was cool. I will never forget it until next year. I pronounce 2010 as "o-ten." I guess this it just my special way of saying it.

I pronounce 2010 as "twenty-ten" as it rolls off of the tongue smoothly. As of yet, I find no problem with my pronunciation.

It depends on who I am talking to. In normal conversation I say two thousand ten but when I'm in school talking about the year I graduate I usually say twenty-ten.
I pronounce 2010 as Twenty-ten. I say it that way because it just sounds right. I think that Two- thousand and ten just does not sound right.

Hey Mr. Downing, Yes I stayed up all night New Years Eve! I pronounce 2010 as “two thousand and ten“ because that’s what I’m use to saying, an I don’t see a point of changing it now.
There is only one way to pronounce it. It's pronounced twenty-ten, not two-thousand ten or two thousand and ten. The class of two-thousand ten sounds horrible.
