It seems that holiday music is everywhere these days. You hear it on the radio, in the malls, on television and yes, even in my classroom! One local radio station (2WD) is playing nothing but holiday music.Maybe you have a favorite artist of group that makes holiday music. Some artist like Mannheim Steamroller and Trans-Siberian Orchestra produce mainly holiday music. Other artists (probably including your favorite) have done a holiday song or two. Look at the videos. Did you enjoy them? What is your favorite holiday music? Do you think it is over done or not done enough.

I didnt like the songs you played. I dont like Christmas song at all. They are boring and will put me to sleep. I only like one artist and that's Gucci Mane.
The lights video was pretty cool. They must have worked very hard. Also the other video was cool. I don't have a favorite Christmas song.
I don't really have a favorite Christmas band. I really don't like Elton John either. And i don't like Christmas songs because they overplay them too much.

Hello Mr. Downing. The video about the flashing lights was disturbing. They must have alot of time on there hands. I wonder what's going to happen when the holidays are over and it's time to take the lights down. I do think that it would be fun to watch.
My favorite Christmas artist is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They are an awesome band. They are extremely talented and do great pieces. My mon saw them in concert last year.

Well, I don't really have a favorite Christmas/holiday group or artist. I do listen to Christmas music. My favorite Christmas song to listen to is "Slient Night" by The Temptations.
Even though my favorite christmas group is Trans-Siberian Orchestra, my favorite Christmas song is "Happy Christmas" by John Lennon. It is a great Christmas song. It really gets me in the Christmas mood. I also like "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24. It is also an amazing song.
I thought that the first video was crazy, they did too much to that house. They would give the people that drove past a headache. The second video was okay until they got to the end when the little girl just jumped on the couch. I didn’t get that. I am not a Christmas carol person so I really don’t know about Christmas music.
I really don't have a favorite Christmas song or artist. The video that you play today was good and I like their remix of the Christmas song. Most holiday songs people play really annoying but the Christmas Eve/Saraevo 12/24 was good.

I really don't have a favorite Christmas artist. There are a couple of Christmas songs that I do like. The songs that I like are Christmas Shoes, The Chrismas Song, and Will I See You At Christmas.
For First Block students. I agree with Curneisha. Silent Night and the entire Christmas Album by the Temptations is fantastic. Good job today!
I like Christmas music. Sometimes I do think that it is overdone. Actually my favorite singers Trin-I-Tee 5:7 put out a new Christmas CD this year. I don't like orchestras so I didn't enjoy this very much at all. I can't wait for Christmas.
I don't have a favorite group, but my favorite song is "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus". The lights was really cute, I liked them. I never seen anything like it before, it was new and interesting.
My favorite group that I love to hear sing holiday songs is the Temptations! I think my all time fa-vorite Christmas song is Christmas Shoes by Alabama. I enjoy that song because its sad and it makes you think about life, an what some people go through! I think some holiday Christmas songs are over done but their still classic’s so I don’t mind listening too them, because they are not played all the time. The Christmas song that I’m most attached to this holiday season is Lady GaGa Christmas Tree song, its some-thing different that you usually hear during the Christmas season.
I like most Christmas songs, but I have a favorite. I like Sonatra rendition of Chestnuts. The runner up song is It's Cold Outside, the duet. I also like Michael Jackson's I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause. Those are my favorites.
I don't mind Christmas songs. They are there to put you in the mood for the season. If you don't like them, don't listen to them. Try to open up and expand your horizons. Trans-Siberian Orchestra has great music that blends the classical and rock genre together into a conglomeration of audible greatness.
I thought the videos were very good. I think they were well done and excellent. My favorite artist is Celine Dion. And my favorite song by her is Chestnuts Roasting on a Open Fire. Thanks for the blog.
I mainly am a no favoritism-person with Christmas music. However, the last few years, i grown attached to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Me, I'm more in to Halloween music. My favorite song is "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" only because my little brother is named Rudolph (we call him Rudy) and its fun to irritate him during the holiday season.
While I don't have a favorite group that does Christmas music, my favorite song is called Dreamers and it is by Josh Groban. But this is a good blog today. Hope the last few before break are good to.
I think that Christmas is the best time of year for music. Christmas music is the best type of music ever made. I think that Christmas music is really calming and relaxing.
I enjoy almost all Christmas music. I especially enjoy rock combined with Christmas music. My favorite composer is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They are very talented and I always enjoy listening to them. My favorite Christmas music is “Carol of Bells”.
I love Christmas music! I really like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I have seen them in concert twice with my dad and they are really good. My favorite Christmas song is Frosty the Snowman and Let it Snow. I think the people who did the lights on their house with the song was really cool. They must've used a lot of electricity.

I don't really have any favorites when it comes to Christmas music. I really just like most all of it. That song by Elton John that you played, I never knew that he sung it but I like that song too. :)
I like Christmas music but I don't like to hear it all day. People play it too much and then I get tired of it. Mariah Carey has a few Christmas song that I like.
I like Christmas songs. I liked the Trans Siberian Orchestra song the best. But other than that it was pretty cool.
