How High Will it Go?

Gas prices are rising. You have probably noticed it at the pump in the last week. Do you remember last summer when gas prices were rapidly climbing and approaching $4.00 per gallon? Actually, in some parts of the country the price went way over $4.00. Will they do that again?
But , then it seemed that gas prices fell very quickly last fall and winter. Now, as prices rise, does it make you angry or frustrated when you purchase gasoline?
For those of you who are driving, will rising gasoline prices affect your driving this summer? If you are not driving, would they affect your driving? Or, does it make a difference? As for me, yes, rising gas prices are a pain, but I still need to get to work.
Here is a thought: Carpooling helps out tremendously with gas costs.
Tell us what you think!

Do to the economy being so bad and all the stuff that is going on in the U.S i am not surprised at the gas. It has already shot up another .50 cents but it not going to be a problem with me i will just save my gas.

Sorry Mr. Downing personally I cannot say anything about this because I do not drive yet and honestly I'm not to worried about it right now at this age.

I think it's stupid for the gas prices to be that high. It was only 18 years ago that prices were like 90 cents. I think as soon as I get my license the prices will go through the roof and I think its unfair. We need cars that run on something other than gas.

The rise of of gasoline prices will affect me alot during the summer. I have a job that I will be having to get to and from all summer long, our vacation weeks during the summer, and also having some fun time for my summer break with my friends. I really hope gas does not go up to much more.

Gas prices are constantly changing and I just have to deal with that. There's nothing I can do about it, so it won't change my driving habits. It won't get so high that I can't afford to drive around. I have to get from A to B, so I just have to pay for whatever the price might be.

I plan on driving around the beginning of next school year. The rising gas prices might be a little scare but with a decent job I don't think it will be as much of a concern as long as I don't waste my money. I am really looking forward to driving but the gas prices are definitely going to be a set-back.

No the rise of gasoline will not determine where I go. We can't control the prices of gas so there is no need to gripe about it. Just spend your money wiswely, and save more money to use it for gas.

I dont really have a car to drive around, but I know that gas prices affect everything. If Gas prices go up, the prices of everything else will go up along with it. I think that prices will go up over the summer, possibly reaching the $4.00 mark.

These rising prices stink! I used to be able to fill up the silver bullet with twenty dollars earlier this year. Just yesterday, I put twenty-five dollars in my tank, and it only got me between 3/4 and full. I think the prices will continue to rise, just because it's summer and the gas people know everyone will be on vacation.

Actually, the gas prices rising isn't going to affect me driving anywhere I want to go! I pay for my own gas and I work so it really isn't going to affect me that much. It might take more money away from me but that's ok!

The recent economic downturn is the reason for lowering of gas prices. Deflation has been occuring and since gasoline companies use only the US dollar prices have decreased. When inflation resumes the prices will elevate once more. It doesn't make me angry since the high price encourages people to find alternate sources for energy. I do not drive that much so high gas prices will have little effect on my plans. As for carpooling, it is effective in saving money but a mass transit system, such as the one used in Japan, would be more effective especially if it was a monorail or other electronically powered system.

The rise in gas prices isn't really going to affect anyone. It will frustrate them but it won't stop people from driving as much as they do. I would try driving less if I was driving, but with marching band that isn't really possible. People are not going to stop driving just because of the gas prices, not yet anyway.

I don't really like the gas prices going up, but I can't do anything about it. I have seen many people get mad though. I hope in the future that it will be low for us.

Gas prices will more than likely rise then fall again. The lowering of the gas prices was only a comfort to a lot of people. But one can only get too comfortable till something comes along to disturb you. The gas prices will rise and affect the lives of almost every American unless there rich. It is sad but it will probably effect me to on my vacation.

Well I think by the time I start to drive, the gas prices are going be ridiculous. Yes, gas prices are rising, but I think that even if we did stop driving it make that big of an affect. Usually during the summertime the prices rise extremely.
