Under, not Over

While I am not a big follower of the NBA, this video caught my attention and may bring a smile to your face.  The Chicago Bulls are suffering through a tough season with injuries and players performing below expectations.  However, Nate Robinson has been a sensation for them.  In this video what he does is not only awesome but quite smart.  Let your opponent jump over you.  Sound simple?

Watch the video a couple of times to get a good idea of this move.  Think you might want to try it the next time you are playing hoops?
Tell us what you think of this move and remember to give us a paragraph (3-5 sentences) and proofread it.

  3. I don't really like basketball but, it was quick thinking to go under him like that. Pretty risky also, it could have ended badly. Overall basketball doesn't really impress me.

  6. I think it is smart how he went under him. I probably wouldn't attempt it because I'm not that great at basketball. I liked this video, it's funny how he did that.

  8. While I don't understand basketball much, I think it was a smart move to go under the other player. It could have went wrong if he hadn't been careful, but it's pretty awesome that he pulled it off. I would never even consider attempting something like that in my life.

  9. I believe it was a stroke of luck on Nate's, as well as the other player, that this happened at all. I think he was trying to fake out the defender and attempted to go around him, while he actually jumped and Nate wound up underneath him. Lucky for Nate, he looks like a quick-thinking, great basketball player; Lucky for the other player, he didn't get anything valuable hurt by Nate's head. Good ducking, Nate.

  13. Basketball isn't my favorite sport but it was a very quick and good move by him. I however think that if I or a lot of other people tried that we would fall on the ground... with a guy on top of us. Maybe that can be your next blog!

  15. This was not bad. When the player was about to be jumped he should have just throw it in to the hoop. I think that this video is not bad.

  17. I have to admit that was impressive. At least the camera showed the move. Still that was unexpected.

  18. I think the Chicago Bulls are hurting this season, but Nate Robinson's play in this video was very good. Simply faking your opponent out with a pump fake, go underneath, and make the lay ups for an additional two points!!

  22. I dont have a big interest in basketball, it's just too intense for me but I do cheer for it! I think his move was pretty awesome! I mean, his defense jumped over him and he went under and still scored a basket! I would never be able to play basketball.

  27. I’m not a big fan of basketball but I actually liked this video. It was a quick move to go under the other player. I wouldn’t attempt it though I’ll probably fall on the floor or something. I’ll just leave his move up to him.

  28. I am not much of a basketball player but I do love to watch it sometimes. The move is intresting but may also be quite dangerous. The key is precision and timing which alot of people don't have. I may try it next time I play but im sure it won't turn out to well!

  29. I would have never thought about doing that. That was a very impressive move and to have little time to think of it. That was one of the best moves I have ever seen.

  30. His move is awesome, but I would never try to do that! I don’t like basketball; it’s boring. It probably doesn’t help that I don’t know what any of it means other than when they get the ball in the hoop it means they scored. He looks like an amazing basketball player.

  32. That was a great move on Nate's part. I was amazed on how quick Nate's reflexes were. When the other player went to block the shot Nate found a gap and went for it. I'm not the biggest Basketball fan but this is pretty impresive. Nate really went the whole nine yards with this one.

  34. That was a crazy effort by Nate Robinson. I could never do that even if i tried. The video was cool and shows that Nate is a very talented player.

  35. That was nice. I'd probably break my legs going up against him. Nate is a good player.

  36. I thought it was pretty smart and creative what he did, and like you Mr. D I don't watch much NBA. But this does remind me of a hilarious story. At one of my brother Troy's football games there was this really tall kid I mean huge, any way every time the ball would be hiked and my brother would go to tackle him he would jumps straight over his head. So finally the kid went to jump over his head and Troy grabbed him around his ankles and yanked down and the kid fell on the ground and Troy kept right on playing.

  37. I really don't under basketball or other sports for that matter. This small video clip showed me he dove for greatness when he took a out- manuver strategy, while using his brains. However, many people to the opposition believe it was recless and smart to do the move; they are both right. But what do you expect to achieve if you don't try, and go for greateness. Be smart, be safe believe in yourself and shoot for the stars. That is why I agree with both opinions.
