Miracle Baby (or Baby vs Train)

All I can say is oh my gosh! Watch this video! Is this baby lucky or are we watching a true miracle? Was the mother negligent in not paying enough attention to her child and losing control of the stroller? She might say that she only took a second off, but it might have been enough time for a disaster to strike. What do you think of this? Remember to proofread!

I think it is a miracle!

  2. I believe that this is a miracle. The baby was lucky that he didn't get hurt. The mother was lucky that she didn't loose her son.

  3. Hey Mr. Downing, this video is crazy. I don’t think she did anything wrong because she almost broke her ankle trying to get to the child; the train almost took her arm off trying to reach for it. She should have applied the brakes to the stroller if it had any. I think it’s amazing how the child survived, because the stroller was destroyed, but the baby came out unharmed.

  4. This is definately a miracle. I think the lady was dumb. She should've put the brakes on. I think she was being irresponsible.

  5. I think that it was a miracle. Because this baby was almost run over by a train. And the mom just stood there, which I know she didn't have enough time to react.

  6. That was one lucky baby! I don't think that the mother was at fault here. The baby was really lucky to have that stroller there to protect it.

  7. This is a miracle. There must have devine inervention for the baby to have been harmed only by one cut. The mother did nothing wrong other than forgetting to engage the brake on her babies carriage.

  8. This is a Miracle!! That mother was not doing anything wrong. I just don't understand the other lady who turns around and walks off, but this is a miracle. There's no other way to say it.

  10. This baby is amazing! I can’t believe that little baby survived being run over by a train. It’s scary to what can happen if you turn your head for a split second.

  11. I am very glad that nothing very serious happened to the little child. The mother is very blessed that her child was not harmed during this accident. I think that the baby is a "MIRACLE BABY."

  12. Oh my goodness! That is a miracle that the baby survived. I think the mother should have been paying more attention.

  13. I think that the mother made a big mistake. She didn't pay attention to her baby. She also didn't put the stroller on brakes so it wouldn't roll away. The mother could have been killed if she had leaned forward a little more because the train just happened to be coming through when the baby rolled off. It was a miracle.

  14. I think this whole thing about the baby and the train was very scary. I can’t believe how it happened. One minute the baby is there and the next minute it’s gone. This was definitely a miracle. Totally unbelievable and scary. The mother was very lucky because something even worse could have happened.

  15. This is a miracle. There must have been devine intervention for the baby to have survived this ordeal with nothing more than a scratch. The mother made one mistake she forgot to engage the parking brake on her babies carriage.

  16. Wow a baby survives from a train running him/her over, that is nothing but a miracle. The mother should have watched over her child and put the safety brake on the stroller. But I'm glad the baby was okay and the mom was safe.

  18. What in the world. This is insane. I mean what is this woman thinking if it’s windy out she needed to put on the brakes for the carriage. It’s a miracle the baby survived

  19. That was definitely a miracle. Clearly some one was watching that baby. The mother should have at least been holding on to the stroller. However, as Mr. Downing just said in class after the video, “nobody’s perfect”.

  20. This reminds me of a similar story. A woman was getting sick and fell over the edge of a subway station. A guy jumped in and shielded her in between the tracks. He and she lived. It is amazing how things such as this happens and people manage to survive.

  21. That is truly a miracle. I don't think the mother did anything wrong, she was just wasn't paying attention for a few seconds which I'm sure we all have done. It really is amazing that the baby came out with only a cut on his head. That must have been a magical stroller if it can protect a baby from a giant train.

  22. In my opinion the mother didn't really do anything wrong. But the mother definitley should have kept a more careful eye on the baby and shouldn't have turned her back to it. Also the other people in front of her looked like they clearly saw the stroller rolling away but didn't go after it. It's a real miracle that this baby is even still alive.

  23. I think that the mom should have been paying attention. It is not shown in the video if the mom applied the brake or not. I think that the baby is very lucky that the train was not going any faster and it was high enough.

  24. The mother was not at fault. She simply had a lapse in attention. The fact that the baby was blown in front of the train is only an unfortunate result of a moment of hesitation. The baby is very lucky to be alive, though. his blanket probably got hooked to a part under the train and was lightly dragged under the train.

  25. That was amazing that the baby lived through that. The mother didn't do anything wrong because it was just a split second between when she pulled it and it fell over the ledge. Also she was wearing high heels and i imagine its hard to run in them. Its just a miracle for the mother that her baby lived through that.

  26. I'm glad that nothing bad happened to the baby. I think the mother should have put the brake on the baby's stroller and paid attention. If she knew the wind was blowing why didn’t she put the brake on? But at the end of the day the baby is safe and ALIVE!

  27. The mother hasn't done any thing wrong except for the fact that she did not put on the pram brakes. Then she let her attention go somewhere else. Lastly, she was wearing "high heels". That means you cannot run to catch your baby without injuring your self. So basically, if this happened in the U.S., Child Protective Services would be at that hospital to take her baby away.
